Ship's Agency Services

Inflot-Universal Ltd offers Ship's Agency service in the major ports and shiprepair yards of Crimea/Ukraine, such as Kerch, Theodosia and Sevastopol. The job of the ship's agent covers the following operations:

• arrangement of port formalities (customs, immigration, sanitary and ecology) for the foreighn vessels and for the vessels under Ukrainian flag
• assisting the master of the vessel in his dealings with the local authorities and with pilots, shippers, receivers, stevedores, suppliers, ship repairers and so on
• taking cargo bookings on behalf of the owners and keeping them informed of the progress of such bookings
• assisting the master with the embarkation and disembarkation of crew as well as with any necessary hospitalisation or transfer arrangements.
• controlling all operations associated with the reception, loading and discharging of cargo and handing over on production of the completed bill of lading; arrest/release the Bill of Lading on behalf of the shipowner/operator
• preparing the time-sheet and disbursement account, keeping the shipowner/operator informed as to the arrival and departure of the vessel and progress of discharging, loading, repair operations

For ships calling Azov Sea ports and passing via Kerch-Enikalsky channel company offers first-class service as Transit Agent. This service includes covering port dues, timely pilot order, constantly information about ship's position on the Road/Anchorage and channel passing prospects. As add service for our clients we provide, if necessary, ice-breaker order for transit-going ships and supplyment as well.

Most Agents are also licensed by the Transport Ministry as Cargo Freight Forwarders. This means that they will have numerous contacts within the freight community and can assist in shipping your goods on a worldwide basis.
